Ice candle returns to Hospice Huntsville

A unique symbol of compassion has shown up in the form of an ice candle on the doorstep of a Muskoka hospice.

Algonquin Grace said an ice candle has quietly appeared on the hospice’s front porch every year for the past few years.

The candle, that brings warmth and light in the winter months, has been placed inside a hollowed-out ice cylinder.

“To the kind soul who leaves this meaningful symbol of remembrance and love, thank you,” says the hospice. “Your quiet gesture speaks volumes.”
