Collingwood, Ont. hits the big stage in ‘Amazing Race Canada’ season 11 finale

Picturesque Collingwood, Ont., is set to take the spotlight this week as The Amazing Race Canada season 11 finale unfolds right here in town.

The highly anticipated final episode, filmed in Collingwood and the Blue Mountains, will air Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 9 p.m. on CTV, CTV.ca and the CTV app.

To mark the special occasion, the community is invited to gather at Collingwood’s Simcoe Street Theatre for a live viewing.

The Town took to social media to share its excitement ahead of Tuesday’s final showdown, sharing that admission is free for all, doors open at 8:30 p.m., and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Episode 10, titled “Double Roadblock,” promises to deliver a franchise-first twist. The final four teams will face off in a challenging “Double Roadblock” that forces racers to split up.

“With only their wits and instincts to guide them, this final leg of the race tests both physical endurance and nerves of steel, as speed and coordination determine which team crosses the finish line first,” shared to Town of Collingwood over social media.

The winners will take home two 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV SS vehicles, a trip around the world, $250,000, and the coveted season 11 title of the ‘Amazing Race Canada champions.’

Olympic gold medalist Jon Montgomery hosts the show.
