Barrie drivers are in for another jump at the pumps Saturday, as gas prices continue their steady climb heading into the weekend. Regular gas is expected to hit 191.9 cents per litre Saturday, up six cents from Friday and 13 cents since Thursday, when prices sat at 178.9 cents. Premium is following the same trend, rising from 210.9 cents Thursday to roughly 223.9 cents Saturday. Diesel is moving in the opposite direction Saturday. After reaching 258.9 cents Friday, it is expected to drop eight cents to 250.9 cents per litre. The forecast comes from Canadians for Affordable Energy president Dan McTeague, drawing on more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry.
