Police were called about a possibly impaired driver in a parking lot on Howland Drive, in Huntsville on Sunday at around 7 p.m. Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) required the woman to provide a sample into an Approved Screening Device (ASD). The result registered a ‘Fail,’ and the driver was arrested for impaired driving. The 49-year-old Huntsville woman was charged with impaired offences. She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on August 18. The OPP asks motorists to plan ahead if they choose to consume alcohol or drugs.
