911 experienced technical issues for Innisfil and Bradford

The South Simcoe Police Service said it was having technical issues with its 911 service for Innisfil and Bradford West Gwillimbury on Thursday afternoon.

The service resumed normal operations shortly before 3 p.m.

Police said the call intake system was affected and it had advised anyone calling with an emergency call to remain on the line and to not disconnect the call as it would be answered.

The police service reminds the public to make non-emergency calls to the non-emergency numbers at 705-436-2141 or 905-775-3311.
