P.E.I. RCMP investigating sudden death of man in Georgetown

The P.E.I. RCMP is investigating a sudden death in Georgetown.

The Prince Edward Island RCMP is investigating the sudden death of a 34-year-old man in public in Georgetown on Wednesday.

Police responded to a 911 call about a man acting erratically who lost consciousness around 8 p.m.

Emergency crews tried to resuscitate the man but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
