A man has been arrested for allegedly driving an electric bike while impaired in Cymbria, P.E.I. Queens District RCMP received a report shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday that a man riding an e-bike appeared to be impaired. Police found the 47-year-old man and arrested him for impaired operation. He was then taken to the RCMP detachment for further testing. “The man provided breath samples that were more than twice the criminal legal alcohol limit,” said the RCMP in a news release Friday. Police say impaired driving laws apply when operating any type of motorized vehicle, not just cars and trucks. That includes e-bikes, e-scooters, ride-on lawn mowers, ATVS, snowmobiles and tractors.
