One man has been arrested and charged after a “significant” drug seizure in Summerside, P.E.I., according to RCMP. Price District Joint Forces Operation executed a search warrant alongside the Summerside Police Services at a home as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation on Tuesday. As a result of the search, police arrested a man and seized: In a news release Wednesday, police say 27-year-old Keenen Crozier has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He is set to appear in court on June 24. RCMP says the quantity of drugs is considered significant, as cocaine and methamphetamine are often sold by the half gram to the gram. “The presence of illegal drugs and weapons in our communities poses a very real danger to all Prince County Residents,” said Summerside Police Chief Jason Blacquiere in the news release. “Investigations like this demonstrate the importance of the continued work of the Joint Forces Operation.
