A woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Dartmouth, N.S., on Thursday night. Halifax Regional Police says officers responded to reports that a vehicle had hit a tree on School Street around 11:20 p.m. Emergency responders extracted three people from the vehicle, one of whom was a woman who EHS declared dead at the scene. Two men went to hospital with serious injuries. “The area was closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for several hours while the HRP Collision Reconstruction Unit processed the scene,” a news release reads.
