Halifax man wanted for attempted murder: RCMP

The Nova Scotia RCMP says it is looking for a wanted man facing an attempted murder charge.

Matthew Francis Coaker of Halifax is currently wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant.

The 37-year-old is also facing charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The RCMP describes Coaker as being five-foot-11 and 210 pounds. He also has brown hair and green eyes.

Police say they have made several attempts to find him and are now asking for help from the public.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information on Coaker’s whereabouts to call them at 902-490-5020, local police or Crime Stoppers.
