An incoming student housing facility will add roughly 90 beds to the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) Kingstec campus in Kentville. The provincial government says construction has started on the project, with an expected completion date of fall 2028. “Having housing right next to campus is exciting news for students,” said Alex Faye, president of the Kingstec Student Association, in a news release. “It will make daily life easier while creating a welcoming community where students can build friendships, support one another and make the most of their college experience.” The Kingstec campus, which offers NSCC’s horticulture and landscape programs, has roughly 600 students per year.
