The ministry of labour is investigating a workplace incident in Ramara Township. Provincial police received a call just before 10:30 a.m. today to an address on Simcoe Road, near Ramara Road 47, 30 minutes north of Barrie. It was reported that a man had fallen at the site. ORNGE was summoned, however, the man’s injuries were not too severe, said Melissa Gowanlock, manager of communications with Ramara Township. “The patient was transported by land ambulance to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital,” said Gowanlock.
