A 40-year-old man is facing a charge of attempt to commit murder after shots were reportedly fired in Windsor, N.S., last week. The RCMP says officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Cottage Street around 9:30 p.m. on June 10. When they arrived, they received another report of possible shots fired from the vehicle. “On arrival, investigators found damage to a house that appeared to be from a gunshot and other damage to a car parked at the house,” an RCMP news release reads. “The suspect vehicle had left the area before police arrived.” There were no reported injuries. The next day, police learned the suspect was at a Christopher Hartt Road residence in Ellershouse. Officers spotted the man leaving the house as a passenger in a vehicle around 7:40 p.m. and arrested him in a traffic stop. Daimek Walker from Windsor was charged with: Walker appeared in court last Friday. He remains in custody.
