A 39-year-old man from Middleton, N.S., has been arrested on weapons charges after police reportedly seized a firearm and ammunition during a search warrant. Kings District RCMP had responded to a report of phoned threats involving the use of firearms. The search was conducted at a house on Bentley Drive and the man was arrested at another location on Tuesday. Police say they found a rifle as well as rifle and shotgun ammunition. Shawn Ross Duncan is being charged with 11 offences, including: He appeared in Kentville provincial court on Tuesday and was released on conditions.
