Cape Breton Regional Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a man involved in a break and enter. Police say he broke into the Florence Fire Hall on Oct. 28 around 4:30 a.m., and several hundreds of dollars of alcohol were taken from the property. Officers have released security images from the incident to the public. “Even though the quality makes it difficult to see clearly, we hope someone might recognize this person,” reads a social media post from Cape Breton police. The man is described as between five-foot-eight and five-foot-11. He was pictured in a dark-coloured jacket and pants, carrying a duffel bag. Police ask anyone with information on the incident or the man’s identity to call 902-563-5151. For more Nova Scotia news, visit our dedicated provincial page
