Man, 21, charged after allegedly exposing himself to women in Cole Harbour, N.S.

A 21-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly exposed himself to two women in separate incidents in Cole Harbour, N.S.

The RCMP received a report of an indecent act on a walking trail near Arklow Drive and Amaranth Crescent around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.

A 72-year-old woman told police that a man had exposed himself, masturbated, and followed her for a distance before leaving the trail.

The woman wasn’t physically injured.

During the investigation, police learned another woman had a similar experience near John Stewart Drive.

The 63-year-old woman said a man had exposed himself and masturbated as she walked past him on a trail in a park. She reported the incident at the time, but no suspect was identified.

Investigators identified a suspect and arrested the 21-year-old Cole Harbour man on Thursday. He has been charged with two counts of indecent act.

Police say the man, who wasn’t named in the news release, appeared in Dartmouth provincial court on Feb. 6.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims or witnesses who have not come forward, particularly people who use the walking trails around Arklow Drive, John Stewart Drive, and the surrounding area.
