KISS rock star Gene Simmons and band to perform in Sydney, N.S.

Gene Simmons and his band have announced multiple tour dates in Canada, starting in Nisku, Alta., and ending in Sydney, N.S., at Centre 200 on December 12.

They’re set to perform classic hits across the country, with tickets going on sale Friday.

The KISS co-founder was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, is a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors.

KISS generated more revenue from trademark deals than any other band in music history, under Simmons’ leadership, according to a CBRM corporate communications news release. The band shot to stardom with songs like “I Was Made for Lovin’ You,” “Detroit Rock City,” and “Rock And Roll All Nite.”

The international rock icon is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Simmons recently testified before the U.S. Senate to champion the American Music Fairness Act, part of an effort to ensure recording artists receive fair compensation for airplay.

He’s raised millions for veterans and children’s health, recently receiving the 2025 World Smile Award from Operation Smile.

Tickets to his Canadian performances can be purchased at genesimmons.com, Ticketmaster, and the Centre 200 box office.

No other Atlantic Canadian tour dates have been announced at this time.
