Police are looking for a missing magazine and ammunition that fell while an officer was chasing a robbery suspect in Dartmouth, N.S. Halifax Regional Police says the officer was pursuing the suspect on Green Road around 10:35 a.m. Tuesday when the magazine fell from their equipment belt. “Officers have conducted a thorough search of the area, but the magazine has not yet been located,” said police. “Efforts to locate the magazine are ongoing.” Police arrested and searched the robbery suspect, but they didn’t have the magazine, which contained firearm ammunition. “Unlawful possession of police-issued equipment is against the law,” said police. “If someone is found in possession of the magazine, they may face criminal charges, fines or other legal penalties.” Halifax police are asking anyone with information on the magazine’s whereabouts to contact them at 902-490-5020.
