Four people facing drug trafficking charges after search in Middleton: N.S. RCMP

Four people are facing drug trafficking charges after police searched a home in Middleton, N.S., as part of an ongoing investigation.

The RCMP executed search warrants at a home on North Street and on a vehicle located on the property on June 19 and June 20.

“Officers safely arrested four people inside the residence and seized a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, cash and a shotgun during the searches,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP.

Justin Drew Oickle, 34, of Middleton; Lisa Dawn Trimper, 41, of Harbourville; Garnett William Robinson, 40, of Meteghan River; and Kristen Doucette, 40, of Middleton, have each been charged with:

• possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
• possession for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine)
• possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
• unauthorized possession of firearm
• careless use of firearm
• possession of firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
• laundering proceeds of crime

Robinson has also been charged with possession contrary to order and failure to comply with order.

Oickle, Trimper, Robinson and Doucette were released and are scheduled to appear in Digby provincial court on Aug. 24.
