An emergency alert for a “missing vulnerable person” was issued in the Pictou County area late Monday night. Scott Anthony Grant, 82, was last seen at 8:30 p.m. in New Glasgow, N.S. He was leaving the Aberdeen Regional Hospital on East River Road and reported missing that evening. Police are asking the public for help in finding Grant. He is described as five-foot-one and roughly 174 pounds. “The New Glasgow Police is concerned for the welfare of Scott Anthony Grant and is asking the community to assist by sharing information by any means,” reads a social media post from the police force. “The assistance of the public is crucial in locating missing persons and ensuring their safe return home.” Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact New Glasgow Police at 902-752-1941.
