Drugs seized from Liverpool, N.S., home in trafficking investigation: RCMP

Queens District RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Liverpool, N.S., as part of a drug trafficking investigation on Wednesday.

Once inside the residence on Keddy Lane, officers allegedly seized cocaine, cash, a collapsible baton and a knife, according to an RCMP news release.

They add no one was home at the time.

This wasn’t RCMP’s first time at the residence, as they executed a search warrant at the same address in February.

According to a news release, on Feb. 6 they allegedly seized firearms, unstamped tobacco, and more illicit drugs including cocaine, psilocybin and prescription pills from the home.

They arrested a 38-year-old woman in February in relation to the seizure.

The investigation is ongoing, and RCMP are attempting to locate the residents of the home.
