Two people accused in the death of Melissa Price are now facing a reduced charge. Devlin O’Blenis, 35, and Leandra Beaulieu, 36, who were originally charged with first-degree murder, are now facing a joint second-degree murder charge. The new charge was laid by the RCMP Thursday morning in court. The body of Melissa Price was found in a garbage bin at the bottom of High Street in Moncton on Feb. 15. Court documents say police believe the murder took place “on or about the 14th day of February, 2026.” O’Blenis was arrested on March 11 and charged with first-degree murder. Beaulieu was arrested two weeks later and also charged with first-degree murder. Both are due back in court on later in May 28. Joshua Martin, 36, has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder and indignity to a human body. Martin’s next court appearance is on Monday.
