One man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Hopewell Hill, N.B., on Wednesday. Police say they responded to the report of the crash on Highway 114 at around 1:25 a.m. In a news release Tuesday, police say they believe the crash occurred when the driver of a pickup truck lost control of the vehicle before leaving the roadway, entering a field, and rolling multiple times before coming to rest on the vehicle’s roof. Police say the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 57-year-old man from Albert Mines, died at the scene from his injuries. The New Brunswick Coroner’s Officer and a RCMP collision analyst attended the scene. Police say the investigation is ongoing. For more New Brunswick news, visit our dedicated provincial page.
