One man is in custody and another is still wanted following a large seizure of drugs and money last month in Dieppe, N.B. It was reported to police that two people left a business in the city around 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 10 and seemed to be impaired. Police say they found a vehicle with two people inside it a short time later who matched their description. Officers then pulled the vehicle over in a parking lot. Police say the suspect left the vehicle while the passenger moved into the driver’s seat and tried to flee. The 30-year-old man from Salisbury was arrested following “a brief altercation” with police. He was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries. Police say they searched the vehicle and seized: Shane Hendry appeared in Moncton provincial court the next day and was charged with: He retuned to court on Aug. 20 and pleaded guilty to the above charges. Hendry was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on Oct. 8, 2026. Warrant issued for second man A warrant has been issued for the driver who allegedly fled the scene. Police say they are looking for 31-year-old Kyle Winson Rouse from Etobicoke, Ont. The warrant was issued for the following charges: Police describe Rouse as being about six-feet tall and 150 pounds. He has brown eyes, is bald and has black facial hair.
