56-year-old man dies following ATV crash in Mapledale: N.B. RCMP

A Richmond Corner, N.B., man has died following an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash in Mapledale, N.B.

The Western Valley Region RCMP responded to a report of a crash near Cosman Road around 10:17 p.m. Tuesday.

“The crash is believed to have occurred when the ATV collided with a fallen tree. The driver, a 56-year-old man, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The passenger was treated at the scene for what were believed to be minor injuries,” reads a news release from New Brunswick RCMP.

A New Brunswick RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
