Nova Scotia • Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education: Schools in West Hants only are closed due to weather and road conditions (schools in Kings County & Annapolis County are open). • Halifax Regional Centre for Education: Due to poor road conditions, and to allow for cleanup, the following Families of Schools are closed: Bay View High, Eastern Shore Consolidated, Marine Drive, Musquodoboit Rural High. All other schools will be delayed in opening by two hours to allow additional time for cleanup. Exams scheduled for Monday are rescheduled to Tuesday for all schools. HRCE offices and worksites will delay in opening by two hours. • Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education: All schools (Cumberland County, Colchester County, Pictou County and the Municipality of East Hants) will be closed due to ongoing weather and road conditions. Office and worksites will be delayed opening by two hours. • Strait Regional Centre for Education: Classes are cancelled at all schools due to weather conditions. In addition, all schools, buildings and worksites (Mulgrave Operations Centre, Bus Garages, Regional Office at SAERC) will delay opening until 10:30 a.m. • Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education: All schools and worksites are closed. • CSAP: Classes are canceled for the Metro and North groups. • Dalhousie University: Halifax campuses are delayed opening until 10 a.m. The Truro campus will reopen at 12 p.m. • Saint Mary’s University: Campus is delayed opening until 10 a.m. • Mount Saint Vincent University will delay opening until 12 p.m. • NSCAD: All campuses will delay opening until noon. • St. Francis Xavier University will be closed for the morning and afternoon. • Cape Breton University is closed for the morning and afternoon. • NSCC: Some campuses are closed or delayed opening. New Brunswick There are no school closures in New Brunswick. Prince Edward Island There are no school closures on P.E.I.
