The price of both gas and diesel decreased overnight for all three Maritime provinces. Nova Scotia The price of regular self-serve gasoline in the Halifax area decreased by 3.3 cents. The minimum price is now 169.8 cents per litre. The price of diesel decreased by 3.8 cents. The new minimum price is 202.2 cents per litre. In Cape Breton, the new minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline is 171.8 cents per litre and the minimum price for diesel is 204.1 cents per litre. Prince Edward Island Regular self-serve gasoline on P.E.I decreased by 3.5 cents. Island motorists are paying a minimum price of 185.6 cents per litre. Diesel prices decreased by 3.4 cents. The new minimum price is 218.4 cents per litre. New Brunswick The price of regular self-serve gasoline decreased by 3.6 cents in New Brunswick. The maximum price is now 176.5 cents per litre. The price of diesel decreased by four cents bringing the maximum price to 217.3 cents per litre.
