Police search for suspect after adult store robbed in Moncton

Police are trying to track down a man suspected of robbing an adult novelty store in Moncton.

RCMP say a man entered the Xclusive Boutique at the corner of Mountain Road and Terris Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. Monday.

They say he threatened a store employee with a knife and demanded she hand over cash from the register.

The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and a few items.

Police say the woman working at the boutique was not injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as an English-speaking white man with a husky build.

He is roughly six-feet-tall and wore a red sweater, dark sweat pants and a dark-coloured toque at the time of the incident.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspect to contact them.
