Missing Dartmouth woman who requires medical treatment found safe: police

Police say a Dartmouth woman was reported missing last week has been found safe.

Amber Lindsey McDougall was seen in the area of Robie and Summer streets in Halifax the afternoon of March 8. The 28-year-old woman was reported missing to police on March 21.

Police said last week that there was no information to suggest McDougall had met with foul play, but they were concerned for her well-being, especially since she has a medical condition for which she receives treatment. Police said she had been without the treatment since she was last seen.

Police said Monday that McDougall had been found safe.
