January 20, 2017 will mark a historic day in American politics and presidency. The swearing in of a new president is a memorable event unto itself. But in the case of president-elect Donald Trump, January 21 might be stealing the spotlight.

In the hours after Trump was elected, the Women’s March on Washington was born with a Facebook page. Slated for the day after the inauguration, it quickly grew into what is now a worldwide event.

The march and other anti-inauguration events slated for the day of and day after, are making headlines. And scores of activists and celebrities are showing their solidarity by attending or posting about it on social media.

On January 19, Planned Parenthood and All Access are hosting a free pre-inauguration concert featuring Common and The National. Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit that provides reproductive healthcare, sex education, and information in America and globally. Part of Planned Parenthood's funding in America comes from taxpayer money and conservatives have long-sought to cut that off.

On his big day, Trump will have to compete with a Facebook Live celebrity-studded event, Love-a-thon, happening in New York. Starting at 12:30 p.m. on inauguration day, the stream aims to raise money for the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, Planned Parenthood and Earthjustice. Here are 10 of the more than 40 celebrities supporting the event:
