TORONTO -- Still baffled by his exclusion from England's main World Cup squad, striker Jermain Defoe turns his attention back to Major League Soccer as Toronto FC hosts the New York Red Bulls on Saturday.

Defoe watched from the bench Wednesday when Toronto disposed of the Vancouver Whitecaps in the Amway Canadian Championship semifinal in a penalty shootout.

But the England star returns to the lineup, along with captain Steven Caldwell, to face the 3-3-5 Red Bulls.

Brazilian midfielder Jackson is out with a concussion for Toronto while goalie Julio Cesar is doubtful due to flu. And midfield star Michael Bradley has left the team to join the U.S. World Cup squad.

Newly acquired midfielder Collen Warner is suspended after a red card in his last league game with the Montreal Impact.
