Carrie Underwood's baby is due in the spring.

The singer announced last month she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together -- and she has now revealed when the couple will welcome their baby into the world.

Appearing on 'The View', she said: "I'm due in the spring!"

Though the 31-year-old singer is excited about becoming a mother, she admitted she is nervous about the responsibility.

Discussing her concerns about becoming a parent, she said: "Just being responsible for a tiny human. That's the hardest part."

Underwood recently admitted she is finding the fact she is pregnant "weird."

She said: "It's still kinda weird, to be honest.

"Sometimes I'll be with my husband, and it's like, I'm gonna be a mom. You're gonna be a dad. Is this real life? But we're really excited."

The country singer is already looking to her own mother for inspiration on the type of parent she wants to be.

She said: "I have a wonderful mother, so if I can be even a little bit like that, we'll be good."

Underwood -- who married Fisher, an NHL player, in 2010 -- has previously admitted she wants more than one child but not too large a family.

She has said: "Three is fine. Four? Somebody's getting something done, because we ain't having five!"
