HALIFAX - Police in Halifax have charged a teenaged boy after he allegedly brought a loaded gun to a busy mall Friday evening.

Police say officers were called to Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth around 6 p.m. after someone overheard two people talking about drugs and a firearm.

They say a 16-year-old boy was arrested at one of the mall's entrances with a loaded gun and faces numerous weapons charges.

Three other males -- ages 16, 18 and 22 -- were arrested in a nearby parking lot and drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Police say those three are facing drug possession and trafficking charges.
