HAPPY VALLEY GOOSE BAY -- An RCMP officer in Labrador has been arrested for child luring over the Internet.
A news release from the Mounties say the officer was arrested Friday and made his first court appearance Saturday morning.
He'll be held in custody until a bail hearing on Monday in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.
The RCMP say the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is taking the lead in this investigation.
Police say a court-imposed publication ban prohibits the release of further information.
