After being pelted by the second snowstorm in three days, some people in Atlantic Canada are waving a frosty white flag and declaring #WinterISurrender.
A blizzard dumped as much as 30 centimetres of snow in parts of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island overnight Tuesday, bringing many areas to a virtual stand-still.
The build-up of snow is now several metres high and driving has become hazardous as strong winds whip up the fresh snow and reduce visibility.
Many residents of the Maritimes are fed up, and have taken to social media to express their frustration over the seemingly relentless pelting of snow that has battered the region in recent days.

The accumulation of snow left many people trapped in their homes as they were stuck behind walls of snow.

Getting to work was also a tricky proposition. Some residents awoke to discover that their cars had been covered by a mound of snow, or that the roads had disappeared altogether.

While frustrations are high for some, others have used the opportunity to have some good times in the snow before the big spring melt.
