TORONTO -- Police say a 36-year-old man is facing charges arising from a stabbing Tuesday afternoon at the Eaton Centre mall in downtown Toronto.

They say the stabbing victim was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Const. Victor Kwong says Shane Michael MacLean faces 10 charges, including two counts each of assault and assault with a weapon, and one each of attempted murder and possession of a weapon.

Kwong says investigators are looking for a second suspect.

He's described as a black man, who is six-foot-one and in his mid to late 20s.
