Police say they have found nothing suspicious about the death of a Canadian soldier, who died after collapsing during physical training in New Brunswick on Tuesday.

The incident occurred outside during a group run at the 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown.

The soldier was a 33-year-old from Oromocto, N.B, and a member of the 5th Canadian Division Support Group Signal Squadron, the RCMP said. His name has not been released.

“The Canadian Armed Forces offers sincere condolences to the family and is providing them assistance during this difficult time,” the Department of National Defence said in a statement Tuesday night.

Reservist Samuel Nadeau, 17, died during a training exercise at the same base in August 2015. In July 2015, reservist Kirby Tott, 25, died while training at Manitoba’s Canadian Forces Base Shilo.
