Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th has revealed its first three locations will be in Ontario as it prepares to enter the Canadian marketplace.

Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th is the luxury retailer’s discount outlet brand, offering “designer brands at entry level prices,” according to a Hudson’s Bay spokesperson.

The retailer announced on Wednesday that Niagara-on-the Lake, Ottawa, and Vaughan, just outside Toronto, will be the first Canadian locations to welcome the Off 5th stores in the spring of 2016.

Vaughan Mills, in Vaughan, Ont., will see a 35,000 sq. ft. location open inside the mall.

A spokesperson for the company says that the Vaughan location will “cater to the GTA” and is a “great fit” because tourists and residents shop at the mall.

In Ottawa, the retailer will open a 25,000 sq. ft. location, at Tanger Outlets in Kanata.

Tiffany Bourré, a spokesperson for the company, says that the Ottawa location was chosen because it will make shopping more convenient for locals who previously had “to travel to outlet shop” before the newly opened mall existed.

Niagara-on-the-Lake will see a 32,000 sq. ft. location open up at the Outlet Collection at Niagara.

This location was also chosen because it is located in a tourist location with lots of traffic.

The announcement of the initial three Canadian locations is the first of round of up to 25 locations that plan to be opened across Canada.

“We are extremely excited to be growing the Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH brand by opening our doors to the fashionable residents of Canada,” Jonathan Greller, President of Outlets, HBC said in a statement.

The brand will be eventually be opening 25 stores across Canada.

Prices at the Canadian outlets will vary from its U.S counterparts but promise to be competitive, the HBC spokesperson says.
