Former Walmart Canada exec chosen as as new president of The Brick

TORONTO -- Leon's Furniture Ltd. is installing a new president at The Brick Ltd., which it acquired in March through a friendly takeover.

Jim Caldwell -- who held several positions at Walmart Canada before he joined The Brick -- will succeed Vi Konkle, effective Sept. 27.

Konkle has been The Brick's president since January 2012. Prior to that, she was the Brick's president of business support since February 2010.
