A 21-year-old man has died and a 20-year-old woman is in custody after police were called to a home Saturday for a “serious incident.” Police were called to a home in the 700 block of Toronto Street on June 13 around 3 p.m. Investigators found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital but later died from those injuries. Police said a woman was arrested at the home. The man has been identified as Trencent Francois. He was from Nelson House First Nation, living in Winnipeg. The woman has been charged with manslaughter and remains in custody. The charge has not been tested in court and police continue to investigate.
