‘Unruly bar patrons’ damaged property, threatened customers with bear spray: Manitoba RCMP

Cocaine, meth, cash, knives and drug paraphernalia were found in the hotel room where three “unruly patrons” were arrested after damaging property at a bar and threatening customers, Manitoba RCMP say.

Mounties in Dauphin, Man. were called to a hotel bar Friday night at around 9:30 p.m. after a report of patrons damaging property and threatening customers with bear spray.

Officers arrived on scene to find the suspects had already left. They began to search the area and found them at another hotel, police say.

While arresting them in a hotel room, Mounties say they saw cocaine and methamphetamine.

They then executed a search warrant and seized cocaine, meth, Canadian currency, knives, and drug paraphernalia.

A 20-year-old woman from Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation and a 21-year-old woman from Roblin, Man. were charged with a slew of weapons, drugs, and assault related offences.

A 23-year-old man from Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation was released on an undertaking.

The investigation is ongoing, police say.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
