Two dead following Highway 68 crash: Manitoba RCMP

One person was airlifted to hospital and two others are dead following a crash Friday near Arborg.

Two people have died, and one person was airlifted to hospital following a Friday afternoon crash near Arborg, Man.

According to Gimli RCMP, officers were called to a crash at 3:33 p.m. on Highway 68 near Road 14 East.

When Mounties arrived, a damaged vehicle was found on the south side of the intersection, stopped in a field. They said two people were ejected from the vehicle and the driver, a 34-year-old woman from Arborg, was trapped inside.

The driver was taken to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance with serious, life-threatening injuries.

A 38-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, both from Arborg, were pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP continue to investigate the crash.
