A local maker of interactive wall projections sent a daring message to Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz Friday night. PO-MO Inc. created a massive display on the side of an Exchange District building at the corner of McDermot Avenue and Albert Street that read, “Sue me, Sam Katz.” The image included a caricature of Katz used in an editorial in the University of Winnipeg’s student newspaper, The Uniter. That editorial is at the centre of a defamation lawsuit between the paper and Katz. The CEO of PO-MO Inc. tweeted that her birthday wish is a new mayor. Her tweet has been retweeted more than 120 times.
