Wednesday night’s semi-finals determined which junior varsity teams are heading to the Grade 9 championship game. Winnipeg High School Football League (WHSFL) Junior Varsity Grade 9 teams from John Taylor Collegiate and Windsor Park Collegiate are advancing to the finals. On Wednesday, John Taylor shut out River East Collegiate, 45-0. Windsor Park beat out Steinbach Regional Secondary in its semi-final matchup, with the royals winning 42-35. The Royals and Pipers will face each other for the Brian Marks Bowl on Nov. 12 at Princess Auto Stadium to determine the divisional champions.
