It was an evening of junior varsity matchups on Wednesday as week three of the Winnipeg High School Football League continued. It was a close game between the Vincent Massey Vikings and Sturgeon Heights Huskies, with the Vikings coming out victorious at 20-19. The Crocus Plains Plainsmen shut out the Kildonan East Reivers 67-0, while the St. Paul’s Crusaders dominated the Vincent Massey Trojans 47-26. Meanwhile, the Steinbach Sabres beat Murdoch MacKay Football 58-36 and the Dakota Lancers defeated the Oak Park Raiders 30-7. Week three of high school football continues with eight matchups on Thursday.
