Human remains discovered in Manitoba community: RCMP

RCMP are investigating after human remains were found in an Interlake community.

Manitoba RCMP are investigating after human remains were found on a property in a Manitoba community on Tuesday.

Gimli RCMP were called to a property in Riverton, located approximately 130 kilometres north of Winnipeg, where the remains were located.

The remains have yet to be identified and RCMP say officers remain at the scene investigating.

Mounties say further information will be released as it becomes available.

The RCMP’s major crimes unit is investigating.
