Assiniboine Park Zoo is looking for some help in naming its baby gibbon. In a Facebook post on Monday, the zoo announced it’s deciding between four names and is asking the public to vote. The options include Taman, which means garden or park in Indonesian; Zahir, which means bright, luminous, manifest or helper in Arabic; Suwanto, which means golden or precious in Javanese/Indonesian; and Kien, meaning strong, firm or brave in Vietnamese. The zoo notes that the names were selected by its animal care and veterinary teams, adding that voting is open until Sunday. The winning name will be announced next week. Voting is available online.
