The Windsor Police Service has launched a new public awareness campaign called “Wanted in Windsor.” This initiative aims to find individuals wanted on outstanding warrants for serious criminal offenses. Through this campaign, police will spotlight 10 offenders currently evading arrest for serious crimes. These offenses include attempted murder, assault, extortion, fraud, drug trafficking, and sexual assault. The primary goal is to generate new leads and accelerate efforts to bring these individuals to justice by bringing their cases into the public eye. “The message is clear: if you are wanted in Windsor, we will not stop until you are found and arrested, ” said Acting Deputy Chief of Operations Ken Cribley. Cribley further explained that sharing this information keeps the public informed and empowers anyone with knowledge of an offender’s whereabouts to come forward. “Every tip moves us one step closer to justice,” he said. The campaign makes it easy for the public to assist safely by featuring each offender with a photograph and key identifying information. Police are telling residents to not approach or confront any of these individuals, but instead to contact police directly or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers. Superintendent of Investigations Paolo DiCarlo emphasized the vital role of community engagement in law enforcement. He said that public information, even if small, can make a real difference in solving cases and holding offenders accountable.
