Threat investigated at east Windsor high school

Windsor police are investigating a threat made via social media at St. Joseph’s Catholic High School.

The Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board said police were called immediately and it was determined that this threat was not credible.

Classes are continuing as usual Monday, and police officers are on site at the school at 2425 Clover Avenue “out of an abundance of caution”, said the board.

Parents were notified about the situation by email earlier Monday morning.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
