Sounds of WIFF to echo through downtown Windsor

The Windsor International Film Festival will begin on Thursday with movies playing across three downtown venues.

The Windsor International Film Festival kicks off Thursday, with something new this year.

Speakers will be set up outside the venues, so the sounds of the festival will run through the downtown streets.

“So for all 11 days of the festival, as our audience running around between films and catching some food, there’s going to be like music playing the whole time, almost like running around to a soundtrack all through all of the 11 days downtown,” said WIFF executive director Vincent Georgie.

WIFF will showcase 231 feature films from over 50 countries, offering something for every taste, from indie gems to international award-winners.
